Oxlade Chamberlain
Obviously this story won't go away Can't believe he is still only 22.

I'm not sure how I feel about this. However even if he comes here, scores 30 every season and never has an injury again then playing for West Ham will be the end of his England career while that drooling, senile, incontinent fuckwit is England manager.

Maybe back to Southampton for him?

Re: Oxlade Chamberlain
As long as we don't pay silly money for him can't see it being a bad move for 22 yrs he has a lot of experience has suffered from a lack of games imo

Re: Oxlade Chamberlain
Can he play right side?

Re: Oxlade Chamberlain
Depends on the deal.

Don't over pay and get some club extensions on a shorter deal.

But I would certainly give him the chance, might do better in a bit more direct style.

Re: Oxlade Chamberlain
I'd take him in a heart beat.

Still very young and raw. I think going to Arsenal has hindered his development due to lack of regular playing time.

He'd be a very good signing.

Re: Oxlade Chamberlain
Suffered from being over hyped and under played. If he stays at Arsenal any longer he risks ruining a promising career.

Get the feeling we could be a really good fit. Us improving year on year and him needing to kick start his career and prove the French paedo wrong

FrancoisVanDerElst 2:09 Sat Apr 23
Re: Oxlade Chamberlain
Yeah right side is his best position lot of competition there for him with Sanchez starting to play there recently and Walcott and Joel Campbell
Would rather get Campbell but do think oxlaide has potential to go on

Can't see us getting oxade and tore tbh so I guess it's one or the other....

Tore has had a fantastic season so would probably be more expensive...

Re: Oxlade Chamberlain
I don't know. The knee injury is a worry and if he's not good enough for Arse then why would we look at him. I agree it would
Depend on the deal and his wages and expectations.

Re: Oxlade Chamberlain
Would fit into our style better than taking Michael Carrick.

Re: Oxlade Chamberlain
He'd fit in nicely with our fast paced counter attacking style.

Re: Oxlade Chamberlain
Never saw him as a Wenger type player going on what he has signed in recent years, pace power and direct, I think he'd be excellent in our set up. Would love us to sign him.

Re: Oxlade Chamberlain
Great buy if the price is right and we can "fix him" injury wise with a customised routine like Carroll now has.

He would replace Moses but given playing time could develop into a real force IMHO.

Re: Oxlade Chamberlain
if he's injury prone at 22 it'll only get worse as he ages. look elsewhere and probably find something fitter and cheaper

Bullet 2:25 Sat Apr 23
Re: Oxlade Chamberlain
Knee problems, has suffered 10 different injuries which have kept him on the sidelines for 444 days so far, meaning he has spent more than year of his five years with Arsenal injured – missing 84 matches in the process.

15m mentioned, wages must be good at Arsenal.

boltkunt 2:25 Sat Apr 23
Re: Oxlade Chamberlain
That game against Brazil was a showcase of what he's capable of.

As mentioned, it would be him or Tore i'd assume?

Don't know much about Tore to make a judgement on who i'd rather.

Re: Oxlade Chamberlain
Would be a very good signing for us.

Will cost a bit still - probably at least £12m or something with add-ons.

Re: Oxlade Chamberlain
Tore & Oxlade for Moses & Valencia works for me.

Like Walcott it isn't working for him there and he needs a fresh start.
Subject to a thorough medical of course.
